In June, Broadcast (a publication backed by the Brooklyn arts space Pioneer Works, where I've seen tons of great shows in recent years), asked me if I'd like to interview jaimie branch. I responded with an enthusiastic yes. We met in Red Hook on the evening of July 27, 2022, and I found her to be just as wise, engaging and unfiltered — not to mention hilarious — in person as she was onstage.
