By this point, you've likely heard about—and, hopefully, heard—David Virelles's Continuum, which turned up on my 2012 best-jazz list, as well as in a bunch of other year-end round-ups. The band from the record—plus saxist Roman Filiu Friday–Sunday and another very special guest on Thursday—is playing the Vanguard starting next Tuesday, 1/29, and I can't wait.
